Electricity is Just Like Water
See how voltage, current, and resistance work — using water flowing through pipes!
Electricity can feel like a big mystery. But what if I told you it works just like water in a pipe? 💧
I made this animation to show the three big ideas:
- Voltage is the push — like how hard you press down on the water
- Current is how much water flows through
- Resistance is how narrow the pipe is
A wide pipe lets lots of water through. A thin straw? Only a little! That’s exactly what happens with electricity and resistors.
